„Arcology” describes a fusion of architecture with ecology, a comprehensive urban perspective. In nature, as organisms evolve, they increase in complexity and become a more compact system. A city should similarly evolve, functioning as a living system. The arcology itself proposes a plural, multi-perspective evaluation of place, and the perception of home. The arcology can create space for multiple perspecti-ves and at the same time has the potential to define itself as a hyperstructure.
